On Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., at the Roxbury Library, Cornell Cooperative Extension Program Educator Tabitha Gilmore-Barnes will offer a program on budget friendly nutrition.
Through stunning three part harmonies bedded against the melodic landscape of the flute and double bass, The Jammin’ Divas, Aoife Clancy (Ireland) of the Grammy Nominated group Cherish the Ladies, Nicole Zuraitis (USA), Kath Buckell (Australia), and Hadar Noiberg (Israel), will draw you into an experience that transcends culture and history by sharing music and stories of how these four compatriots of song culturally influence and enrich one another.
35 years ago, a group of community members gathered around a kitchen table in Roxbury and began to dream of an organization that would celebrate and make the arts accessible right here in the Catskills. That organization became the Roxbury Arts Group, and this year the organization is celebrating its 35th Anniversary with an exciting season of performances, events and workshops for all to enjoy
