Stamford is a village that knows how to celebrate the Fourth of July, and 76 MAIN!, Stamford’s newest entertainment spot, joins the festivities with a bang. On Saturday, July 5, at 6 pm, Saturday Night Live alumna Denny Dillon, with her acclaimed troupe, Improv Nation, will make you laugh until you’re red, white and blue. $12. Denny Dillon is a Tony- nominated stage, television and film actress. In addition to her stint on SNL, she won a CableAce award as Toby Pedalbee in the HBO hit series “Dream On.” She made her Broadway debut with Angela Lansbury in “Gypsy” and was nominated for a Tony as best supporting actress in a musical for “My One and Only,” starring Tommy Tune and Twiggy. Her film credits include “Saturday Night Fever” and the critically acclaimed “United 93.”
Dillon is a well known improvisation perfomer and teacher. On Saturday, July 12 from 2-5, she will offer a workshop in the art of improvisation at 76 MAIN! $35. Class size limited.
