Lynn Domina to Read

Writers in the Mounttains will present  Delhi poet Lynn Domina, who has taught several classes on writing poetry for WIM,   at a reading and book signing  at the Walt Meade Gallery of The Roxbury Arts Group on Sunday, May 18th at 2 pm.   She will be reading from  Poets on the Psalms, a remarkable and thought provoking  new collection of essays published by Trinity University Press in San Antonio, Texas.   Lynn edited the volume and is one of the fourteen   contributing poets.   She will  also share with the audience her experiences of putting this collection together.   The event is one of an ongoing series of Sunday Seminars sponsored by WIM.  It is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served.  For more information, Call (607) 326-7908

Lynn Domina is the author of a collection of poetry, Corporal Works, as well as books on Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun and Leslie Marmon Silko's Ceremony. Her recent poetry appears or is forthcoming in the Southern Review, Prairie Schooner, New Letters, Tiferet: A Journal of Spirituality and Literature, and Christianity and Literature. She lives in the western Catskill region of New York and teaches at the State University of New York in Delhi.
