visitingFrom NYC

From NYC take the NY State Thruway to Exit 19, Kingston (approximately 90 miles). After the toll take the Rt. 28 W ramp US 209, Ellenville and Rhinecliff Bridge. Continue to follow Rt. 28 W approximately 45 miles into the hamlet of Arkville. Pass the Delaware and Ulster Rail Ride (on left) and the Arkville Firehouse (on right). Make the first right past the firehouse onto County Route 28, this will connect you to Rt. 30. On the building as you turn, you will see signs pointing right for The Roxbury Motel, Ski Plattekill and the T-Bar Saloon. Go to the end (1 mile) of Rt. 28 and make a right onto Rt. 30 N. Follow about 11 miles into the Village of Roxbury. Kirkside Park is located behind the Jay Gould Memorial Church, a large stone church on your left, just past Roxbury Central School. Use the parking lot behind the Church to access Kirkside Park.

From Albany

From Albany take I-90 W (Northway), towards Buffalo. Merge onto I-88 W via Exit 25A towards Schenectady, Binghamton, and Rt-7 (approximately 16 miles). Continue on I-88 W until you reach exit 23, Schoharie (approximately 16 miles). At the end of the off-ramp turn left onto Rt. 30 (you will be heading towards Schoharie). Continue on Rt. 30 S to the hamlet of Grand Gorge (approximately 28 miles). Continue on Rt. 30 S to the Village of Roxbury (approximately 6 miles). Kirkside Park is located behind the Jay Gould Memorial Church, a large stone church on your right. Use the parking lot behind the Church to access Kirkside Park.

From Binghamton

From Binghamton take I-88 E to exit 15, Oneonta (approximately 55 miles). At the bottom of the off ramp turn right onto Rt. 28; travel a short distance to the light. At the light turn left onto Rt. 23 E.
Follow Rt. 23 E to the hamlet of Grand Gorge, approximately 40 miles.
At the intersection of Rt. 23 and Rt. 30 make a right onto Rt. 30 S (you will see a gas station on your right). Follow Rt. 30 S about 6 miles into the hamlet of Roxbury. Kirkside Park is located behind the Jay Gould Memorial Church, a large stone church on your right.
Use the parking lot behind the Church to access Kirkside Park.

From Buffalo

From Buffalo take I-90 E towards Albany.
Continue on I-90 E until you reach exit 25A (approximately 266 miles). Merge onto I-88 W via Exit 25A towards Schenectady, Binghamton, and Rt-7 (approximately 16 miles). Continue on I-88 W until you reach exit 23, Schoharie (approximately 16 miles).
At the end of the off-ramp turn left onto Rt. 30 (you will be heading towards Schoharie). Continue on Rt. 30 S to the hamlet of Grand Gorge (approximately 28 miles). From Montreal

From Montreal take AUT-15 S, this becomes I-87 S. Travel on I-87 S until it becomes I-90 W (approximately 177 miles). Continue on I-90 W until you reach exit 25A. Merge onto I-88 W via Exit 25A towards Schenectady, Binghamton, and Rt-7 (approximately 16 miles).
Continue on I-88 W until you reach exit 23, Schoharie (approximately 16 miles). At the end of the off-ramp turn left onto Rt. 30 (you will be heading towards Schoharie). Continue on Rt. 30 S to the hamlet of Grand Gorge (approximately 28 miles). Continue on Rt. 30 S to the Village of Roxbury (approximately 6 miles).
