ACCLAIMED JEFF WILKINSON & THE SHUTTERDOGS BRING AMERICANA SONGCRAFT TO STAMFORD’S VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PARK THURSDAY JULY 23rd, 7:00 PM

A Jeff Wilkinson & the ShutterDogs concert offers a lot: blues, folk, rock, and ace showmanship, all delivered with the verve of a seasoned performer and his well-traveled, crackerjack band. The Roxbury Arts Group is excited to present all that and more – FREE – with Jeff Wilkinson & the ShutterDogs in concert at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Stamford, NY, on Thursday, July 23rd, at 7 PM.

Based in the Hudson Valley, singer-songwriter-mandolinist Jeff Wilkinson has been active since the 80s, releasing six albums on various labels, and touring extensively in the U.S. and Europe, sharing stages with Jesse Winchester, Pete Seeger, Bill Morrissey, NRBQ, Peter Case, Gillian Welch and Robert Earl Keene.

For the Stamford concert, Wilkinson will bring fiddler extraordinaire Sara Milonovich, multi-instrumentalist Greg Anderson, and drummer Dan Fisherman. The band – the ShutterDogs – has graced many a stage – locally, nationally, and internationally.

Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, a picnic (or have dinner beforehand at one of Stamford’s great restaurants) and enjoy an evening of homegrown, spirited songcraft from some seasoned pros.
