Roxbury History Walking Tours
Self-guided strolls through the hamlet, which is listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places, allow visitors to appreciate historical and architectural significance. Walking tour brochures are available at Roxbury Town Hall (56 Hillcrest Drive), Roxbury Library, Roxbury Motel, Roxbury General, and the Roxbury Arts Group. The hamlet of Andes is home to eateries, galleries, shops, an artisanal bakery, a cidery, lodging, a historic tavern museum, yoga, a creek-side community park, hiking trails, and fishing access.
Arkville
Arkville is home to the recreational Delaware Ulster Railroad, whose picturesque rides reach Roxbury Depot. The hamlet features a distillery, shops, eateries, bowling, a yoga studio, a laundromat, The Meadows nine-hole golf course, banking, and gas & conveniences.
Catskill Recreation Center – Memberships and day passes are available for swimming, full fitness gym, volleyball, exercise, movement, and therapy classes, and more.
Catskill Water Discovery Center – An interpretive “living classroom” exhibit, located in the Catskill Watershed Corporation building, informs visitors about the Delaware/Catskill watershed and the remarkable history of New York City’s water supply system.
Delhi
Delhi is the seat of Delaware County government and the home of SUNY Delhi. The village hosts fun festivals and features a farmers market, shops, galleries, eateries, cafés, a tearoom, gas & conveniences, plus golfing, kayaking, and fishing access.
Halcottsville
Susan’s Pleasant Pheasant Farm – Kayaking, canoeing, standup paddling, and birding by an old watermill on Lake Wawaka.
Pakatakan Farmers Market – At the historic red Kelly Round Barn. Operates on Saturdays from May to the end of November.
Highmount
Belleayre Mountain – A state-operated ski facility with multiple trails, state-of-the-art equipment, year-round recreation, special events, and spectacular views.
Margaretville
The village of Margaretville features a supermarket, pharmacy, eateries, galleries, banking, shops, services, gas & conveniences, entertainment, nearby hiking, and fishing access.
Hanah Mountain Resort offers a championship 18-hole golf course, lodging, dining, and private events. Plus, karaoke Friday evenings.

Situated in a rural valley steeped in agricultural traditions, the West Kortright Centre offers arts programming in a historic 19thcentury church.
