Notice is hereby given that the Town Board, Town of Roxbury, Delaware County, New York, for the year 2022
will meet in person the second Monday of each month for their Regular Monthly Meeting, except for January
when they shall meet on January 4, 2022 and except for November when they shall meet on November 10,
2022. All meetings will begin at 7:00 pm and will be held at the Town Hall, 53690 State Hwy 30, Roxbury, NY
except for April and August when they will meet at the Grand Gorge Civic Center, 60933 State Hwy. 30, Grand
Gorge, NY. Videoconferencing will be used and access information will be available on the Town website
www.roxburyny.com prior to the meeting.

NYS DPS to hold Virtual Public Statement Hearings on the Commission's Broadband Assessment Program

The Commission will hold a virtual public statement hearings to solicit input to ensure full public participation.

Maggiore Commissioners Dear Community Leader/Elected Official:  The Public Service Commission invites public comment regarding the Broadband Assessment Program to study the availability, affordability, and adoption of residential and commercial broadband internet access across New York State. The purpose of the study is to help determine what steps are needed to ensure that all of New York's consumers have access to the internet, as needed. To ensure full public participation, the Commission will hold a series of virtual public statement hearings from February 23 to March 3, 2022, to solicit input and comments from your community. Any participant not able to register or login to the hearing electronically may participate by phone. Any person wishing to provide a public statement at the hearings must pre-register by 5:00 p.m. the day before the hearing they wish to attend. Use the links below to register for a hearing: February 23, 2022 February 24, 2022 1pm 1pm 6pm March 2,2022 1pm 6pm 6pm March 3,2022 1pm 6pm Topics for public comment include but are not limited to: broadband internet service locations that offer a speed of at least 25 megabits per second (Mbps) downstream while 1 Mbps upstream is not available; locations that provide an internet download speed of more than 25 Mbps but are less than 100 Mbps upstream; barriers to access of services such as high costs; locations where there is only one broadband internet service provider, and reasons why some consumers prefer to use wireless mobile service instead of the wired broadband service. Additional details on how to participate at the public hearings and how to submit comments are available in the Notice of Public Statement Hearings. Information about the case can be found on the case page (21-02182) on www.dps.ny.gov website or at www.empirestatebroadband.com. Please anticipate your water needs during this time.
Once water is restored, let it run a couple of minutes as it may be dirty or riled.
If you have renters, please make them aware of this notice.

Help Wanted - Water Clerk

RE-OPENED POSITION

The Town of Roxbury is seeking to fill the position of Water Clerk for two water districts. Duties include:
billing, receipting, notices, mailings, customer service with account owners. Benefits include NYS Retirement.
Pay rate and other benefits will be discussed at an interview. All interested applicants can obtain an employment
application at the Town Clerk’s Office, 53690 State Hwy 30, Roxbury, NY or by contacting the Town Clerk at
607-326-7641. Please submit applications to the Town Clerk by Feb. 7, 2022. The Town of Roxbury is an Equal

Town of Roxbury COVID Test kits distribution.

COVID TEST KIT Announcement: The Town of Roxbury has received 100 covid test kits from The Delaware County Department of Emergency Services. These Test kits will be distributed for free tomorrow by the Roxbury and Grand Gorge Fire Departments according to the following schedule:

Roxbury Fire House – Friday January 7th from 5PM to 7PM

Grand Gorge Fire House – Friday January 7th from 4PM to 6PM

All test kits will be distributed with a limit of one per person on a first come basis until all kits are distributed. Everyone who is in line must be wearing a mask to receive a test kit.
