Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting will be held by the Town of Roxbury Planning Board on October 7, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at the Roxbury Town Hall, located at 53690 NY-30, Roxbury, NY, to conduct regular Planning Board business, including consideration of a resolution to allow the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) to act as SEQRA Lead Agency for the Hughes Energy, LLC Project located at 100 Greene Del Lane, Roxbury, New York. HELP WANTED
The Town of Roxbury is seeking applications for the position of School Crossing Guard for the 2020/2021 school year. Eligible persons must be at least 16 years of age and must be available school days 7:30 am – 8:00 am and 2:45 pm – 3:15 pm and for early dismissals. Rate of pay is $11.80/hour. Other benefits will be discussed at an interview. Interested applicants may obtain an application at the Roxbury Town Clerk’s office, 53690 State Hwy 30, Roxbury, NY 12474 during regular hours Mon – Fri 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, closed 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, or by calling 607-326-7641 or by email townclerk@roxburyny.com. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town of Roxbury, New York
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board for the Town of Roxbury at the Roxbury Town Hall on the 14 day of September 2020, at 6:45 p.m., regarding the adoption of a proposed Local Law to establish residency requirements for the Office of Deputy Town Clerk. At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.
Copies of the proposed law shall be available at the time of the hearing and shall be available at times prior to and after the hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours for the purpose of inspection or procurement by interested persons.
