Annual Drinking Water Quality Reports for 2023

NOTICE
Town of Roxbury

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Roxbury, Delaware County, New York has completed the 2023 Annual Water Quality Reports required by NYS Dept. of Health for the Roxbury, Grand Gorge and Denver Water Districts. Copies of the reports will be mailed to all water customers.  Copies of the reports are also available on the Town website www.roxburyny.com or inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY during regular business hours.

PLANNING BOARD

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Roxbury Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing, pursuant to Section 276 of the Town Law on the application of:

William Walcutt - Tax Map #179.-1-50 located at 635 Hall Rd. – 2 Lot Subdivision for the approval of a subdivision plat.

SAID HEARING will be held on June 19, 2024 at 7:30 pm at the Roxbury Town Hall, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY at which time all interested persons will have the opportunity to be heard.

DRI Local Planning Committee Meeting

The Grand Gorge & Roxbury Downtown Revitalization Initiative Local Planning Committee will hold its first meeting on May 20th from 5-7 pm at the Town of Roxbury Town Hall, 56 Hillcrest Drive, Roxbury, NY 12474. The meeting is open to the public. Grand Gorge & Roxbury received $10,000,000 from the New York Department of State to invest in revitalization projects. Come learn about the program and how you can participate. The meeting will include a working session of the Local Planning Committee and an opportunity for questions and comments from the public.  For more information visit the website: www.grandgorgeroxburydri.com. A zoom link for the meeting will be provided on the website and on the Town of Roxbury’s website.

As part of our ongoing Roxbury/Grand Gorge Water Project, the contractor will be doing a directional boring under the Vega Mountain Stream. 

YOUR WATER WILL NOT BE TURNED OFF TO DO THIS WORK

One lane traffic will be in effect:

Vega Mountain Rd. from State Hwy 30 intersection to the first bend in Vega Mountain Rd. (approximately 200 feet in length)

Wednesday March 20 through Friday March 22

7:30 am – 3:30 pm
